Doug uses composition and a variety of watercolor techniques to create a sense of movement. He begins by describing four techniques he uses to depict motion. Then you see his use of preliminary sketches to thoroughly understand how his subject might look in motion. You learn how to emphasize movement by using strong color, bold values and painterly brush strokes. Doug walks you through his sequence of value sketch and thumbnail painting. He shows you what he needs to emphasize in his final painting and what needs to be blurred or delineated. Finally, Doug demonstrates two complete paintings – a wind surfer and a group of cyclists.

Our policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have gone in the past since you purchased however, we're unable to give you a return or exchange.
For your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it in. It should also be returned in the original packaging.
